Dr. Dawn Torre is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG). Her clinical philosophy is shaped by a multidisciplinary background in psychology, nursing, and medicine—enabling an approach to women’s care that balances medical precision with a deep understanding of emotional well-being.
She began her academic training in psychology, earned her nursing degree, and worked as a psychiatric nurse before completing medical school and residency in obstetrics and gynecology. This diverse foundation informs a thoughtful, patient-centered practice grounded in attentive listening, individualized care, and comprehensive treatment planning.
Dr. Torre has developed a focused clinical interest in menopause and sexual health, working closely with patients to address hormonal changes, comfort, and overall quality of life. I had my first appointment with Dr. Torre and was so impressed. I drove 1 hour and 15 minutes to see her, and she was absolutely worth it. I’m usually a terrible patient and even warned the staff ahead of time, but she was incredibly gentle, patient, and explained everything so well.
